PEDAGOGIC TOOLS

To dance is to offer students a creative, evolving and constructed means of expression.

GOALS

In the school context, offering a dance workshop means wanting to use another language with the students: body language. This mode of expression is little used in the daily life of the class; however, it allows an opening on a little known world: a world without words. This language also makes it possible to overcome the divisions of language and culture, and thus to enter into a poetic and universal language.

MEANS

The tutor accompanies the students in a gestural research that is both personal and collective, bringing into play their personality and their sensitivity. The dancers respond to precise instructions which lead to an increasingly refined body language. The session lasts approximately 1 hour The dance workshop participates in civic education by putting us in situations of collective creations whose objective is also to educate the child's gaze in the face of the responses of the other. These workshops are intended for children aged between 8 and 18 and adults.
